This is a firm of trial lawyers. We devote our time to matters which may be expected to wind up in trial before a judge and jury. Contrary to the well financed (and false) propaganda stating that our population is “suit happy,” our experience is that most people consider litigation only as a last resort. In general, people who have been injured would rather not be involved in litigation and would not do so if they were treated fairly
Each of us expects that people will act in good faith when we are the innocent victims of others’ wrongdoing. Unfortunately there are those, including insurance carriers and big business, who don’t act in good faith, and when that happens, you need a lawyer who will protect your interests and recover for the damages that have been inflicted on you. Since 1967, we have been doing just that. We have represented thousands of our fellow citizens against some of the biggest, toughest opponents there are. We have tried (and won) cases against most of the major insurance companies, General Motors, Greyhound, the State of California, The United States Government and many, many more. We take our commitment to our clients very seriously.
Recently, legislation was introduced to take away the ordinary citizen’s ability to defend against the big money and power of insurance companies and big business. We worked hard to educate the community and show how this unfair legislation would limit an injured party’s ability to recover for losses suffered as the result of another’s fault. It would have severely limited the average citizen’s access to the courts while leaving insurance companies, big corporations, and other large organizations unfettered access to the courts and the lawyers of their choosing.
